Queen's granddaughter Beatrice to marry in May

Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter Princess Beatrice is to marry Italian businessman Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in London later this year, Buckingham Palace announced Friday.

The marriage, at St James's Palace on May 29, is likely to be a more low-key event than the 2018 wedding of her younger sister Eugenie.

She paraded through the streets of Windsor after marrying British wine merchant Jack Brooksbank.

Beatrice, 31, and Eugenie, 29, are daughters of the queen's second son Prince Andrew, who has been embroiled in a scandal over his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

He stepped back from royal duties in November over his links to the disgraced financier, who was found dead in prison as he faced charges of sexually exploiting underage girls.

A statement said Beatrice's wedding, in the Chapel Royal at St James's, "will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace".

The Royal Chapel has hosted many weddings in the royal family, including that of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on February 10, 1840.

It is also popular for royal baptisms, including that of Prince George -- the eldest son of Prince William and his wife Kate.

Beatrice and her sister's mother is Sarah Ferguson. She and Andrew divorced in 1996.

Mozzi, 36, is a wealthy real estate tycoon, ex-member of the international jet-set and a cricket fan. He has one son from a previous relationship.

Beatrice and Eugenie are respectively ninth and 10th in line to the British throne

Jennifer Lopez Blasts Super Bowl ‘Too Sexy’ Critics: ‘It Was a Celebration of Women and Latino Culture’

On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez defended her recent Super Bowl halftime with Shakira, which was criticized by some as being “too sexy.”

“I think that’s honestly silliness,” she told Variety‘s Marc Malkin at the Independent Spirit Awards.

Lopez and Shakira’s halftime performance on Sunday, which scored rave reviews otherwise, featured pole-dancing, a children’s choir and both Latina singers embracing their Colombian and Puerto Rican heritages through song and spirited dance.

“Both of us are really respectful performers who are moms and have kids and are very conscious of what we do,” Lopez said. “We (put on) a show that I believe was a celebration of women and our Latino culture that I think was really well reserved. And that small faction of people who want to be negative about it, I can’t even let in.”

Hugo Weaving Finally Reveals Why He Didn't Come Back As Red Skull For Avengers

Hugo Weaving would have come back as Red Skull — if Marvel weren't so "impossible" to deal with.

The actor has finally revealed why he did not reprise his role as the Captain America villain for "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Endgame", claiming the studio tried to short change him.

Speaking to TimeOut London, he confirmed Marvel approached him to play the character, whose surprise appearance in the superhero epic caught just about everyone off guard.

"Oh, yeah," he replied when asked if he was asked back. "I loved playing that character Red Skull – it was a lot of fun."

He explained that everybody was obliged to sign up for three pictures. "I was thinking [Red Skull] probably wouldn't come back in 'Captain America' but he may well come back as a villain in 'The Avengers'," he said.

"By then, they'd pushed back on the contracts that we agreed on and so the money they offered me for 'The Avengers' was much less than I got for the very first one, and this was for two films. And the promise when we first signed the contracts was that the money would grow each time."

"They said: 'It's just a voice job, it's not a big deal'.
