Prince Kaybee on when he was dependent on a girlfriend: 'I was staying at her place'
Music producer Prince Kaybee says he still assists his ex-girlfriend who was there for him when he was down and out.
He says the lady in question used to take care of him while he was still trying to make a name for himself.
As soon as he managed to get on his feet, Kaybee didn't turn his back on her. Even though they're no longer together, he still helps her whenever she seeks his assistance with something.
He revealed all this after one of his lady fans was complaining about her taking care of her man. The lady says she is done with taking care of men because, "being a cool girl is rubbish."
That's when Kaybee responded saying he was in the same shoes as that guy at one point. However, now that life is going well for him, he's not forgotten about his ex-girlfriend for what she did for him.
"I was in a relationship with a broke mans last year, I had to Uber myself to and from his place and he didn’t even offer me food, so I’d sometimes arrive with takeaways to his place and we'd watch movies on his laptop all day. Being a "Cool girl" is rubbish. F*&k that."
Lupita Nyong'o and David Oyelowo mourn death of co-star Nikita Waligwa
David - who played teacher Robert Katende in the heartwarming movie - also posted a moving tribute in which he said Nikita's "light will live on".
He wrote alongside the same image: "We mourn the loss of our beautiful Nikita Pearl Waligwa. She was a ball of light in @queenofkatwemovie and in life. Her battle with a brain tumor was humbling to witness. Her light will live on. #rip (sic)"
Nikita was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016, and was in remission a year later, however, another tumour was found in 2019.
A member of her family said at the time: "The brain was swollen and it is exerting a lot of pressure."
It had been reported that Nikita was set to undergo more surgery to remove the tumour when she sadly passed away.
