Netflix has set February 7 for the premiere of Locke and Key, the Carlton Cuse–produced adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s IDW comic book series that has been in development for more than a decade.

The mystery series revolves around the Locke family, three siblings and their mother who move into their ancestral home – Keyhouse – after the murder of their father.

Keyhouse, as the Lockes quickly discover, is filled with magical keys that hold special powers. That draws out a demon who wants to steal the keys, which may have played a role in the murder of the Locke paterfamilias.

The series stars Darby Stanchfield (Scandal), Jackson Robert Scott (IT), and Connor Jessup (American Crime).
